The Raine Group provides a wide range of investment banking advisory services to its technology, media and telecommunications (“TMT”) clients. Our team has extensive experience that it brings to a variety of clients ranging from multi-billion dollar global TMT companies to Silicon Valley start-ups. We focus on helping our clients with their strategic options and capital needs. The firm provides sell-side, buy-side, private placement, merger, joint venture, defense, fairness opinion, special committee, intellectual property, capital structure and IPO advisory services. Raine utilizes its expertise, along with its global network and reach, to maximize outcomes for its clients. We are selective in taking on clients and view each relationship as distinctive.
Raine manages two growth-focused private equity funds as well as two venture funds and a TMT-oriented hedge fund, with current assets under management of over $1.5 billion. Our growth and venture funds invest exclusively in fast-growing TMT enterprises. While the average investment size for our growth funds is expected to be in the $40-80 million range, we have the ability to deploy capital from the fund in amounts ranging as small as $20 million or, through our network of co-investors, as large as several hundred million dollars. In addition to financial capital, Raine brings deep industry expertise and strategic guidance to its portfolio companies through its network around the world. We believe our sectors of focus will enjoy significant top-line growth from globalization and secular technology shifts and that our funds are uniquely positioned to invest into these trends.
